I am an artist and my medium is quilting. My tools include natural fabrics, fiber reactive dyes, textile paints, stitching, and found objects. I create dimension and movement using color and line. The images used in this series are photos of structures, buildings and walls throughout Germany, particularly Braunschweig, Germany. Walking through the historic towns allows me to make a connection to what had taken place before. My camera is my vehicle that captures the pieces of these incredible sculptures.
